Mister j. Snodgrass teaches about religions with a focus on sociology and sex. He currently lives in Buffalo, NY with his wife and three children, and looks forward to teaching college courses in the fall.
The name for this site, “Mister j. Snodgrass” was chosen to differentiate this Snodgrass from other Snodgrasses – Doctor Snodgrass, Father Snodgrass, the poet Snodgrass and the Bible scholar Snodgrass. Though a seminary graduate, Snodgrass is proud of his title, “Mister.”
He is the author of five books (available on amazon.com), and is currently working on another one. His available books are:
GENESIS AND THE RISE OF CIVILIZATION
“A REMARKABLY READABLE AND ENLIGHTENING VOLUME.” –DANIEL QUINN, AUTHOR OF ISHMAEL.
SNODGRASS INTEGRATES STUDIES OF WORLD MYTHOLOGIES, ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN TRIBES AND EMPIRES, ARCHAEOLOGY AND RABBINIC LEGEND TO READ GENESIS AS A PARABLE FOR THE AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION AND GOD’S COUNTER-REVOLUTION.
